Adriana Lecouvreur is a four-act opera, adapted by Francesco Cilia, and an Italian script written by Arturo Colauti, adapted from Eugene Scribe in 1849 Ernest Le Gouvi's play "Adriana Lecouvreur". It premiered on November 6, 1902 in Milan's theaters.
Francesco Cilea's most famous opera is enjoying new popularity and respect, winning the favor of a new generation of opera actors.
